This Is How I’ve Made My Days More Intentional

Maybe it’ll help you too.

I didn’t set out to create a method or a framework.
I just wanted a better day.
And I wanted that again tomorrow.

Like most people, I’ve spent years juggling work and home. Ideas and demands. I’d write endless to-do lists, use productivity tools, try to stay on top of everything… and still feel behind.

So I tried doing something else.

I started to write down no more than eight things each day.
Just the things that mattered.
Not everything I could do, just what I’d be glad to have done.
Work things. Life things. Small, clear actions.

No app. No pressure. Just a notebook and a pencil.

That habit changed me more than I expected.

It forced me to choose.
It helped me notice what I’d usually ignore.
It gave structure to my days.
It reminded me that doing a few things that matter and doing them with focus is better than trying to do everything.

Over time, it turned into what I now call Eightly.
A name. A method. A framework.
A practice I return to every day.
It’s not a life system. It’s a habit I can hold in my hand.

Eight is the limit. That’s the rule.

So if you’re looking for something simpler.
Something you can return to.
Eightly might help.

It helps me. And maybe that’s enough.

I’ve made a starter kit if you’re curious.
No guilt or pressure.
Just eight things. And a better day.
